Baltimore’s Classic Five held its inaugural “Baltimore’s Best Putter” contest this week, and the champions were crowned yesterday evening at Mount Pleasant. BJ Warner was the Adult winner, shooting 17 on the 9-hole course. Justina Donawa was the Junior winner, shooting 21. Both winners won a free round of golf per week for the rest of the year at any Classic Five golf course (25 rounds).

have a three putt on any of the nine holes. The winner was decidedin a putt-off and Warner won on the second playoff hole. Abdul Faieq finished third with a score of 19.

In the Junior competition Donawa, Colin Miller and Brendan Miller all shot 21 in regulation. Donawa had two-putts in his final four holes. Colin Miller kept pace with a hole-in-one on the eighth hole, while Brendan Miller had two-putts in seven of his nine holes. In the putt-off, Brendan Miller was eliminated on the first playoff hole, and Donawa defeated Colin Miller on the second playoff hole to win the competition. Golf runs in the Miller family, as Colin and Brendan are brothers.

Dotter and Colin Miller won DryJoys Performance Light Jackets for second place. Faieq and Brendan Miller won a pair of FootJoy golf shoes for third place.
